Hillfields Farm Wedding- the Venue

Imogen & Ben’s Wedding at Hillfields FarmÂwas an truly incredible day. Hillfields Farm is a breathtaking venue with horses roaming the stunning countryside surrounding the barns and farm. With its twinkling lights and rustic charm, and of course Mrs Durrell the donkey carrying the champagne (what a brilliant touch!), it is a unique and special place. The couple were surrounded by their closest family and friends in a beautiful, emotive ceremony. And for the reception, think proper English countryside vibes, with exposed beams, pretty lights, fireplaces and cosy nooks for the guests to chill out in.  For the evening, a light up dance floor was added which was awesome!

Your own extra touches

One of the really special things about Hillfields Farm is that if you decide not to add any additional decoration, the barns and the landscape around it looks amazing just as it is. However, if you want to, you can add all the extra touches that you would like to. Imogen put together her own bouquet, and those of the bridesmaids on the morning of the wedding! I loved the personal touch of doing that. They also set up croquet on the lawn for their guests and had some good fun with blow up guitars on the dance floor into the evening! Make a weekend of it

At Hillfields Farm, the wedding party can stay at the venue from Thursday to Sunday so everyone is settled in and rested for the big day and can have a mini family holiday! Its a great way to make the most of the beautiful surroundings and spend some quality time together.
