Winchester Registry Office Wedding- The Ceremony
Relaxed, chilled vibe with bags of style and emotion is how I would describe this wedding. On a rainy summer day Sarah & Paul were married at a Winchester Registry Office wedding. I loved every minute of photographing their day. From the bride’s arrival at the venue full of smiles under her umbrella, to the epic sparkler shots at the pub reception at the end of the night.
The Dress
Sarah wore the beautifully chic Delia Skirt and Italia topper by Catherine Deane. The styling perfectly matched the stone interior and ornate light fittings at the venue.
The Hoddington Arms Reception
After the ceremony we all headed to the Hoddington Arms pub in Upton Grey for the reception. Think proper English pub with fairy lit garden and a fire for the smores. Perfect. The food was sublime. The speeches were an emotional mix of laughter and tears. I had a lump in my throat and was totally honoured to create photos for them to remember the feeling in those moments.
I whisked Sarah & Paul off to a nearby field as the sun went down for some relaxed, romantic couple photos. They totally rocked it. The moody skies contrasting with the golden Hampshire fields and purple thistles was dreamy.
Back to the pub and Nick Keen played an amazing acoustic guitar set as the sun went down. The kids and adults danced into the evening. We had hilarious moments organising the lighting of the sparklers but the sparkler shot was nailed. It was the perfect end to a very special day.
