I’m so exicted you would like to book a bluebell photo session with me! I am looking forward to these already- they are always so much fun and take place in such amazing surroundings.
The location I use is Micheldever Woods which is around 10 minutes from Junction 9 of the M3. The carpark is at postcode SO21 3SP. Each year I head down there in the week or so before the shoot and choose the best specific location in the woodland. I will therefore be in touch nearer the time with specific instructions on where to meet me.
These sessions rely on the timing of the bluebells blooming so there needs to be a degree of flexibility on dates! The date when I expect the flowers to be at their best is Saturday 26th April (with Saturday 19th April is pencilled in as a back up).Â
I have an extremely small number of bluebell sessions planned this year in this woodlands so make sure you get in quick to book yours.
During the session we will do a small route of the woodland, stopping along the way to play some games, have some fun and sit down together. It is very relaxed and feels like a fun, evening walk in the most beautiful surroundings. My top tip is to bring a picnic and have al fresco snacks amongst the flowers!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
01. What is your Shooting Style ?
Relaxed, natural and fun! My shoots are a perfect time for you and your family to spend quality time together and let me create the memories. You will play games together, connect, relax and enjoy your family time. The sessions are stress free and I get so many people commenting that it was much more fun than they had expected!
02. What if it rains?
In the run up to your session, I will be checking the weather forecast. If there is heavy or persistent rain I will make the call and we can arrange a new, convenient date for a reschedule.
03. What if one of us is unwell on the day of the shoot?
No problem! Just let me know and we can reschedule.
03. My children are very shy/ have learning difficulties/ are wild/ might have a tantrum/ etc etc?
As a Mum of three and having photographed hundreds of families, I can promise you I have seen it all. Lets be real, children will have moments where they feel things- as a result they might get upset, they might clam up- all of it is fine. Every personality is welcome and we will make the best of it all to create photos that you will treasure. All I ask is for you to relax and connect with them and let me worry about creating the memories for you!
03. We feel awkward in front of the camera. Any advice?
Rest assured, my style is very natural and we will have lots of fun! We will be doing some walking together, play some games and have lots of fun. Within 10 minutes or so you will feel relaxed and enjoy it!
